SEO Definition

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. Usually, the earlier a site is presented in the search results or the higher it "ranks", the more searchers will visit that site. SEO can also target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.

Classification of SEO

There are two types of SEO:-

01.White Hat SEO: When we follow rules and regulation in search engine optimization then it is called White Hat SEO. The other name of White Hat SEO is Ethical SEO.

    White Hat SEO has two kinds,

·        On Page Optimization: In the time of preparing a web site we should do some SEO to attract visitors, this is called On Page Optimization.

·        Off Page Optimization: To increase traffic when we do some SEO from outside of the web site then it is called Off Page Optimization.

02.Black Hat SEO:  When we don’t follow the rules and regulation in search engine optimization it is called Black Hat SEO. The other name of Black Hat SEO is Unethical SEO.
